WHAT’S NEXT? LIFE AFTER HIGH SCHOOL (LAHS)
Workforce development for high school juniors and seniors to prepare for work or post-secondary education. Students explore the following: Interest assessments, job preparation, social skills training, self-advocacy, employer expectations, job searching, workplace readiness, transition services, executive functioning skills, time management, employer site visits, and counseling on opportunities for in-transition or post-secondary education.
Ages: For high school juniors and senior (age 21 and under).
Funding: DORS-funded for Maryland students. $111 per session for DC and VA students. Open to students from all area schools. Students will be screened for eligibility.
Program Logistics: 12-week sessions, once per week. Call for dates.
