The Katherine Thomas School Admissions

The Katherine Thomas School (KTS) has a rolling admissions policy. Admission applications may be submitted at any time for the following school year or for any openings that may occur during the current school year. Qualifying families may apply for financial aid. Contact us for more information about our admissions policy, Process and Procedures, Tuition and Fees, to Schedule a Visit to our school, or to RSVP for an Open House.

KTS Inquiry for Admissions

A Letter from the Admissions Director

KTS strongly believes that when it comes to qualifying an applicant, the numbers don’t tell the whole story. We look beyond the numbers and look at the whole individual. We spend as much time with families as needed throughout the application process.

The main focus of the admissions process at KTS is to get a sense of the whole student and make decisions with input from our team of professionals. The admissions process begins with a file review to determine if the program can support the applicant’s educational needs. If KTS seems like an appropriate fit, the next step in the process is a classroom visit. A buddy is assigned to help orient the visiting student to the new surroundings. Prospective students are evaluated by our multi-disciplinary team of KTS faculty and clinicians for the final decision. For more information, see our process and procedures and our FAQs.

I invite you to experience our school at an upcoming KTS Open House.

Thank you for your interest!
