Dear Parents/Guardians:

We are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, and what a light it is!  Our brightest light is shining on June 11^th, at our first graduation ceremony.  It will be held at the Hilton on Rockville Pike at 5:30 PM, and we hope that you can join us. 

On May 28, our junior job interns and their parents will be participating in an Internship Reception to thank their internship employers/supervisors for the opportunities they have been given this year.  The Restaurant Management classes will be providing the food for the reception.

School ends on June 12^th, and the 11^th and 12^th are half days.  And, we will be ending with a flurry of academic activity!  Final exams will be held the week of June 2^nd, and an exam schedule will be disseminated soon. Our funded students from Maryland will be taking the High School Assessments the week of May 19^th.   Also, please join us on May 29^th for the High School Spring Concert!

After-school activities have started again, running for 4 weeks.  We still have space left in the art and sports activities – contact Delma Benjamin if you want to sign up your student.

Finally, attention all golfers!   Please sign up to participate in the TLC Golf Tournament (information can be found on the website) that is being held on Monday, June 9th.  Don’t forget GO KTS as well.  Through the generosity of our golfers, sponsors, and GO KTS donators (in addition to the Parent Soiree), we have been able to provide The Katherine Thomas School with much needed technology and other expensive equipment. Your support and that of family members and friends is greatly appreciated.
