Volunteers make an extraordinary difference in the
lives of the more than 2,100 children and adults who rely on TLC—The
Treatment and Learning Centers to improve their lives and expand their
possibilities. TLC is an approved Student Service Learning
(SSL) site for Montgomery County Public Schools.
We encourage you to get involved today and make a difference in your
community!
TLC’s 2008 Summer Volunteer Program
TLC is currently accepting volunteer applications for our 2008 summer
programs, including:
• Speech-language program for children
ages 3–7
• Sensory integration/occupational therapy
program for children ages 5–7
• Learning enrichment program for children
ages 5–13

Other TLC Volunteer Opportunities
TLC accepts volunteer applications throughout the year for a wide
range of programs, including:
• Classroom/therapy aides at TLC’s Katherine
Thomas School for preschool through 12th grade students with learning
disabilities
• Classroom aides at TLC’s Early Learning
Center for infants and toddlers
• Therapy aides for TLC’s Interactions
Group for preschoolers with regulatory-sensory processing or language
issues and who may be on the
autistic spectrum
• Fundraising events volunteer
