TLC—The Treatment and Learning Centers is a local, private non-profit agency in Rockville, MD founded in 1950 that specializes in programs and services for children and adults with special needs.

Our outpatient services, located at 2301 Research Boulevard, include:

• Speech-Language Services
• Occupational Therapy
• Psychoeducational Testing
• The Family Hearing Center
• The Outcomes Service, for adults or transitioning youth with disabilities.

Our second location at 9975 Medical Center Drive is home to:

• The Katherine Thomas School, an independent day school for students preschool-12th grade with moderate to severe language and learning disabilities and high-functioning autism
• The Tutoring Service, specializing in learning disabilities
• The Early Learning Center, childcare for typically developing children ages six weeks to five years
• TLC’s Summer Programs
