Middle School pragmatics and PBIS information.

Welcome to second semester! After winter break in pragmatics we completed a goal setting activity where each student identified a classroom goal that would be monitored by each teacher and acknowledged with "goal bucks". Be sure to ask your student (or contact Sally or Becky) to find out your child's goal.  This week we are beginning a unit on attitude adjustment using the concept of half empty and half full. When your student presents with a half empty comment or attitude- ask for some rewording. Over the next weeks students should be able to do this skill indpendently.

We will have a Valentines Day Extravaganza during the last two periods of the day on Friday Feb 13th. Watch for a flyer and talk of a DANCE (line dancing,games,music and an alernate movie for those choosing not to dance).
