What is TLC?
A: TLC—The Treatment and
Learning Centers, a private non-profit agency located in Rockville,
MD, that improves lives and expands possibilities for individuals
with special needs. Celebrating 60 years of service to the community
in 2010, TLC is
committed to providing care with integrity and excellence, and
assisting all, regardless of their ability to pay.

programs and services to children and adults with special needs.
The Family
Hearing Center
Comprehensive
audiology services and hearing aids for all ages.
The
Outpatient Services
Speech-Language and Occupational Therapy, evaluation and groups for
children of all ages.
The Testing and
Tutoring Service
Psychoeducational
testing, tutoring and counseling for children and adults.
The Outcomes
Service
Vocational and support
services for adults with disabilities.
Early Learning Centers
Childcare program for the
typically developing infant, toddler, and preschooler, ages six
weeks – 5 years.
TLC's Summer
Programs
Summer programs for
children ages 3 – grade 12 who have special needs in the areas of
speech language, perceptual motor, and/or academic development.
The Katherine Thomas School
Private day school
serving the needs of children preschool through twelfth grade, with
moderate to severe learning and language disabilities and
high-functioning autism.
