TLCThe Treatment and Learning Centers is a family of services in one organization where caring is our first concern. Our expert staff and innovative programs provide a foundation for greater independence. For more than 50 years, TLC, a private non-profit agency, has grown and changed to meet community needs.

TLC People

Several groups of dedicated and highly-qualified people support our TLC mission.

  • Staff188 qualified and credentialed teachers, therapists, administrators, and support staff.

  • Board of Trustees17 caring and concerned volunteers from major corporations, small businesses, or other organizations.

  • Current Consumers 5 consumers who receive one or more of our services and give us feedback through the Consumer Advisory Board.

  • Volunteer Physicians18 interested physicians who refer patients to TLC for service, and provide guidance on medical issues through the Medical Advisory Board.

TLCThe Treatment and Learning Centers is not affiliated with any national organization and depends in part upon the generosity of the community to provide its services. Services are provided without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, country of origin, sexual orientation, genetic information, political affiliation or disability.

Why choose TLC?

We know clients and consumers choose TLC and return for services because of:

  • Consumer feedback: Consumer Satisfaction Surveys (based on a broad variety of criteria) rate us at an overall 4.4 on a 5-point scale
    (5 = Excellent; 1 = Poor)

  • Qualified staff: Our staff hold professional accreditations and licenses as well as the personal concern to provide the best therapy, education, and care possible.

  • Reasonable prices and value: As a non-profit agency, TLC is competitively priced and we seek to provide value for the dollar. We continually survey prices to ensure our services will provide the best value to our consumers.
