Social Worker
The Katherine Thomas High School is seeking a full-time (40 hours a week) social worker to provide school-based counseling services in a non-public, multi-disciplinary high school. Experience with children and adolescents, high-functioning autism and learning disabilities is required. MD license at the graduate or clinical level is also required. Location: Medical Center Road.

Vocational Rehabilitation Program Director
TLC seeks Vocational Rehabilitation Program Director. The position is responsible for planning, implementation and management of all vocational rehabilitation programs in the Outcomes Program. Duties include strategic planning, budgeting, staff recruitment, supervision/development, quality assurance to include compliance with licensing and accreditations, program development and community advocacy. Must have Master’s degree from an accredited institution in the field of rehabilitation, social work, speech-language pathology, psychology or other health-related areas. A minimum of seven years experience working with individuals with disabilities, including administrative and supervisory responsibilities. Experience with developmental disabilities an DDA is highly desirable. Location: Gaither Road.

Administrative Assistant
TLC seeks a full time, 30 hours a week Administrative Assistant position for the Outcomes program. The Outcomes program is a vocational rehabilitation program serving adults and transitional youth with disabilities. A Bachelor Degree or 3 years relevant experience is required. The position requires excellent communication and public relations skills, attention to detail, good organizational and writing skills and the ability to work independently. Job Placement Specialist
TLC seeks a full–time Job Placement Specialist. The position is responsible for establishing employer contacts, job development, individual job placements, and job search activities. This includes teaching job seeking skills, developing an employer network for job placement, performing on-site assessments and job coaching services as needed for adults with developmental disabilities. Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation, Psychology, Special Education, or closely related field. Six months experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Prefer experience as a job developer or Job Coach with individuals with disabilities. Must have a valid Driver’s license, car, and maintain an acceptable driving record. Computer literacy is required. Must have strong interpersonal/human relations skills, analytical and creative problem solving skills, effective written and verbal communication skills. Location: Gaither Road.

Speech-Language Pathologist
Come join a growing pediatric outpatient setting with opportunities for multi-disciplinary collaboration. Supportive team and excellent materials library. Immediate openings for PRN positions. Possibility of daytime, after-school, evening, or Saturday hours. Must have CCC’s and Maryland License. Location: Gaither Road.

Physical Therapist
The Katherine Thomas School in Rockville seeks to hire a part-time (8:00 a.m - 4:30 p.m. two days a week) Physical Therapist to begin on August 22, 2011. The position will be responsible for providing therapy and IEP’s for DCPS, MCPS, and private pay students. Two years working experience in an educational setting or clinic is required. Must be able to lift 25-40 lbs. suspended equipment in sensory gym. Must be licensed by the Board of Physical Therapy of the State of Maryland. Location: Medical Center Drive.

Occupational Therapists
TLC and the Katherine Thomas School in Rockville, MD seek: Full-time, part-time, PRN (after school hours) and SUMMER Occupational Therapists for an outpatient clinic and preschool through high school setting for students with special needs. B.S in OT required. MD licensure must be established prior to employment. 2-3 years of pediatric clinical experience with experience in treating sensory processing is preferred. A new graduate with exemplary fieldwork experiences may be considered. Location: Medical Center Drive and Gaither Road. Sign-on Bonus for part-time and full-time positions.
