TLC - The Treatment and Learning Centers is a local,
non-profit organization in Rockville, MD founded in
1950 that specializes in programs and services for children
and adults with special needs.
Our outpatient services, located at 2301 Research
Boulevard, include:
Speech-Language Services
Occupational
Therapy
Psychoeducational Testing
The Family Hearing Center
The Outcomes Service,
for adults or transitioning youth with disabilities.
Our 9975 Medical Center Drive location is home to:
The Katherine Thomas School,
an independent day school preschool-12th grade with a
diploma-based
High School Program,
for students with moderate to severe language and learning
disabilities and high-functioning autism.
The Tutoring Service,
specializing in learning disabilities
TLC's Summer Programs
The Early Learning Center,
childcare for typically developing children ages six weeks
to five years, is at our newest location, 14901 Dufief
Mill Road in North Potomac.
